Auditions for the 2024-2025 concert season are now open!
The Cathedral Choral Society is the chorus-in-residence at Washington National Cathedral. Our 2024-25 season features Brahms’ Requiem, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Chanticleer, and more – don’t miss out on these extraordinary opportunities to sing with us!

THE AUDITION
Auditions are about 10 minutes long and include:
- A solo piece of your choosing (preferably Classical)
- Ear-training and pitch-matching exercises (i.e. we play something, and you repeat it for us!)
- The audition may also include a short sight reading exercise
Regular rehearsals are held seasonally on Monday nights from 7:30 – 10:00 p.m. Typically the season starts the Monday after Labor Day and concludes after the final concert in May.
