Gabriela Calderon's Bio

Gabriela Calderon serves the Cathedral Choral Society as Development Associate. A native Texan, she came to DC to pursue her Master’s degree in Arts Management and Administration from American University where she studied the issues of repatriation, reparation, and restitution of encyclopedic museums. She has previously served as Development Coordinator for the Emerging Arts Leader’s Symposium. Passionate for the arts, Gabriela champions the belief that art should be equitable and accessible for all. She strongly believes that art can create a lasting impact in the development of a person’s sense of self as well as in their community. She came to CCS with 10 years experience in higher education project management.
