About the Festival

The Cathedral Choral Society is pleased to present its annual DC High School Choir Festival, which brings together students from public, private, and charter schools throughout the District of Columbia for a day of music-making and camaraderie. This day-long event consists of rehearsals, sectionals, vocal workshops, a group dinner, and an evening concert. Each choir performs a piece on its own along with three combined pieces, two a cappella and one with a student orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Steven Fox.
