Gala Sponsorship

Virtual Gala & Album Launch Party

Highlight your company’s support of arts and education and receive VIP promotional consideration during our first-ever virtual gala. No longer constrained by geography, we anticipate reaching a nationwide audience. The gala broadcast will be available to stream after the live event, enhancing your brand’s presence.

Join us as we celebrate the release of our newest album: Kastalsky’s Requiem for Fallen Brothers, on the Naxos label, recorded with Maestro Leonard Slatkin in the fall of 2018.

Featuring a conversation and Q&A with Honorary Chair Maestro Leonard Slatkin, a silent auction, and live musical performances from CCS musicians!

We are pleased to customize all giving levels and benefits to suit your company’s needs. Let us know how we can help you reach your desired audience!

To become a gala sponsor, please contact Christopher Eanes, Executive Director, at ceanes@cathedral.org or 513-560-3300 (cell).

Who We Are

The Cathedral Choral Society is the symphonic chorus-in-residence at Washington National Cathedral. Independent of the Cathedral, the chorus was founded in 1941, and has had only three music directors. The current music director is the GRAMMY-nominated Steven Fox.

The Cathedral Choral Society is one of the 40 largest choruses (by budget size) in the United States and one of the most visible. Owing to its history and home at the National Cathedral, arts leaders and patrons worldwide have looked to the Cathedral Choral Society as a leader in world-class performances, the commissioning of new works, and the cultivation of young, promising artists. The late world-renowned soprano Jessye Norman sang her first professional concert with the Cathedral Choral Society.

Our Constituents

The members and patrons of the Cathedral Choral Society span all age ranges and an increasingly diverse ethnic makeup. While 29% of our members are 34 years old or younger, our ticket-buyers are largely over 45, own one or more real estate properties, hold investments, and have affinities to arts and culture, religion, and education.
