With both moments of impressive grandeur and breathtaking beauty, Rachmaninoff’s writing for a cappella chorus is unmatched. His glorious Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom is performed, led by Music Director Steven Fox in his premiere season.

The lesser known of Rachmaninoff's two major a cappella works, the Liturgy's profound music ranges from contemplation to celebration. St. John was an archbishop of Constantinople who was renowned as an orator in favor of almsgiving and against the abuse of wealth.
